Our weight management program is designed to help you lose weight and keep it off. We provide comprehensive support, including nutrition counseling, exercise guidance, and medication management.

We offer several different programs to help in your weight loss journey. Once we establish that you are a candidate for medical weight loss, we design an individual plan tailored just for you. Some programs include injected medications and other oral medications. All programs come with diet, exercise and supplement recommendations. 

Our comprehensive evaluation, starts with a 45 minute consultation. During that time we will go over your labs, complete health history screening, physical examination, lifestyle, eating habits, exercise level and weight loss challenges you have faced in the past. We will then discuss your goals and expectations for weight loss. After that together we will decide what program is best for you.

GLP-1 works by increasing the amount of insulin that's released into out blood, which lowers our blood sugar levels. This can help you avoid cravings and reduce your appetite. 

Semaglutide is a once weekly injected medication. The dosage start low and every 4 weeks can be increased until the max dose is achieved or your at a dosage that maintains your weight. 

It is intended to aid in weight loss for patients with BMI of 27 or higher with at least one weight related aliment or those with BMI greater than 30. 

How it works:

• "Delays gastric emptying",the process of food moving into the intestines. 
• This makes the person feel they are FULL for a longer time and satisfaction with smaller meal sizes
• Stimulates insulin secretion by the pancreas
• Reducing the production of glucose in the liver

Semaglutide works directly with the gastrointestinal system, the most common side effects are gastrointestinal. Some common side effects experienced include:

• Nausea
• Gas
• Vomiting
• Constipation
• Stomach pain
• Heartburn
• Diarrhea

Tirzepatide is a once weekly injectable dual glucagon like peptide 1 (GLP-1) and glucose dependent insulinotropic polypeptide (GIP).  GLP-1 and GIP are hormones that help regulate blood sugar by triggering the pancreas to release insulin and slowing the release of glucose from the liver. It also targets areas in the brain that regulate appetite and food intake. The drug last weeks in the bodies due to small change in the molecule, rater than the natural version our bodies make, which lasts minutes. 

When your blood sugar decreases, digestion slows and hunger decreases. The medication helps you feel full longer, so you consume fewer calories without feeling deprived.

It is intended to aid in weight loss for patients with BMI of 27 or higher with at least one weight related aliment or those with BMI greater than 30. 

How it works:

• Which leads to feeling fullness and satisfaction with smaller meal sizes
• Stimulates insulin secretion by the pancreas
• Reducing the production of glucose in the liver
• GIP increases energy expenditure, which can result in weight loss reductions

Tirzepatide can have some side effects, the most common experienced include:

• Nausea
• Constipation
• Some patients also report:
• Heartburn (acid reflux)
• Diarrhea
• Abdominal pain
• Vomiting

• The Tirzepatide we prescribe is compounded with Cyanocobalamin (Vit B12) to reduce nausea side effects.
